ADM Pumphouse

The Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) Pumphouse was a Design Build Project for a new Pumphouse and Tank Foundation to house fire water pumps that supply water from the 60’ diameter tank if a fire breaks out in the plant. This project was located in Lincoln Nebraska. This project was approximately 1,500 SF and the biggest challenge for this project was designing the pumphouse and tank foundation in a very congested area. During the Geotechnical investigation it was determined that the existing soils were unsuitable. To address the unsuitable soils Vibratory Stone Columns were used to support the 60’ Diameter Concrete Tank Foundation and Tank.
