Mary Greeley Medical Center Inpatient Behavioral Health Units and MEP Infrastructure
This project transformed the South Tower into a modern, fully integrated Inpatient Behavioral Health (IBH) facility while significantly upgrading the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure. The fourth floor was renovated into a 24-bed IBH unit, featuring a complete replacement of water and sanitary piping to support long-term performance and patient safety.
The fifth floor was refurbished into a state-of-the-art mechanical floor, outfitted with new air handling units, Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems designed to serve the IBH unit below, an epoxy-coated floor, and a modernized electrical room with power rerouted from the opposite side of the campus. As part of the scope, the existing penthouse mechanical units were fully demolished, creating a more efficient and reliable system for Mary Greeley Medical Center’s Inpatient Behavioral Health operations.
