Nebraska Methodist Hospital Cath Lab 2 Renovation
Methodist Cath Lab was a renovation to an existing Cath Lab. The project consisted of upsizing the electrical system, installing a structural system to support the new medical equipment, and modifying the lead lined walls. This project was in the middle of an active Cath Lab wing and was very sensitive to noise, vibrations, and Infection control. Due to the sensitivity, a temporary corridor was constructed from the room to the exterior wall and part of the exterior wall was removed to provide direct access to the space without intruding on the other areas of the space. There was constant communication between Graham and the end users to ensure the construction activity wasn’t causing any issues in the active rooms immediately on the other side of the walls.
